In this paper, the weight of each factor is determined using the entropy weight theory, while the stability of surrounding rocks is calculated by the ideal point method through their closeness degree. This model is convenient for computer processing. Engineering application shows that the evaluation result is consistent with that of the BQ method, and it can better reflect the real state of rocksand provide scientific basis for engineering practice.
