%A XI Cheng, SHI Zejin, WANG Changcheng, LI Yi %T Sand body and fluid prediction based on pure seismic information %0 Journal Article %D 2015 %J Science & Technology Review %R 10.3981/j.issn.1000-7857.2015.11.004 %P 29-33 %V 33 %N 11 %U {http://www.kjdb.org/CN/abstract/article_12738.shtml} %8 2015-06-13 %X According to the characteristics of the lateral heterogeneity geological changes of channel sand body, this article uses the pure seismic information, in which low frequency information is well preserved, to predict the sand body and fluid by extracting pure seismic amplitude information by doing relative impedance inversion and using the low-frequency incremental attribute. According to the prediction results of sand body and fluid, well location optimization can be performed. Five wells were suggested and four of them had high yields. The research result can be used as a basis for the next step of the production of the oil field well deployment, and it also can be popularized in similar geological conditions blocks.
