A Complex Social Network Analysis Model Based on Extenics Basic-element Theory

Abstract:To solve the problem existing in traditional social network analysis models, we establish a new complex social network model of multidimensional basic-element by means of the extenics theory and using social network analysis concepts and methods. We present the expressions of the characteristics of complex social network and nodes using multidimensional matter-element, the relationships using relation-element, and the network dynamic evolution process using affair-element. We analyze the integration of the extrenics theory and social network analysis in detail, so as to give full play to their respective advantages and obtain a good combination. Using a simple instance, we verify the practicality and superiority of the model.
