Abstract：To aim at the present point that science and technology periodicals are difficult to promote efficient management, and according to the basic of the cultural institutional reform, which attaches equal importance to the public cultural undertakings and economical cultural industry, we propose giving priority to the academic level in the management of science and technology periodicals. The precondition for the existence of science and technology periodicals should be the social efficiency with multiple operations on the basic of the academic guidance of the periodicals. The author also introduces the manifold measures and experiences of management adopted by the Journals of Chinese Medical Association during the recent years.
