2014年,美国国防高级研究计划局(DARPA)宣布成立生物技术办公室(BTO),聚焦军人能力保持恢复与增强、生物系统的工程化应用、生物复杂性的规模化应用3个研究方向。在研项目由BTO成立时的23项发展到现在的31项,经费投入更为理性,研究重点更为聚焦。在文献调研基础上,利用专家咨询、综合分析、综合归纳等方法,解析了DARPA2016年以来的生物技术项目部署情况,表明其特点为:重点关注脑机接口领域,聚焦人机高效协同技术;着眼应对大规模流行性传染病暴发,重点研究快速诊断预防技术;高度关注生物安全威胁,重点研究安全防护对策;加快部署合成生物学研究,重点研究生物系统工程技术等。
Since 2014 when the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency announced the establishment of the Office of Biotechnology (BTO), focusing on the restoration and the enhancement of military capability, the engineering application of biological system and the large-scale application of biological complexity,the number of research projects has increased from 23 to 31. The investment becomes more rational, and the research more focused. On the basis of the literature research, the expert consultation, the comprehensive analysis, the comprehensive inductive reasoning and other methods, this paper analyzes the deployment of biotechnology projects in the years of 2016 and 2017, reviews their characteristics, including the focus on the field of brain machine interfaces,the rapid diagnostic techniques,the countermeasures of biosafety protection,and the biological systems engineering.
