Identifying Supply Chain Risk Based on Scenario Analysis |

Abstract: The identification of supply chain risk refers to the process of identifying uncertain factors influencing on SC operation and make it vulnerable. This article analyzes the forming process of supply chain risk, proposes the identifying process of Sc risk including background about Sc, identification of risk factors, scenario development, identification of vulnerability in Sc and risk portfolio, optimization and assessment. Its case study is about company A, which based in the Great Britain. In the case of contagion of disease similar to the SARS epidemic in Asia and Pacific Ocean in 2003, would it how to identify its global supply chain risk. In the end, the paper prospects the further study.
