Reverse Structures in Erlian Basin and Their Relations with Hydrocarbon |
|
|
Abstract: The tensional stress field was changed into a compressive stress field in the late depositional stage of Teng-2 formation in Erlian basin, which created stress conditions for formation of reverse structures. There are different reverse structures with different characteristis because of difference of geological background and force-accumulating mechanism in differential sags or regions. In Erlian basin, if reverse structure was formed before the middle depositional stage of Saihan formation, which inverted degree would be very intense; if the reverse structure was formed in a condition that the main source sequence-Aershan formation was involved in deformation, there would be much migration and accumulation of hydrocarbon.
