Advances in Molecular Biology of Functional Genes in Xenorhabdus |
|
|
Abstract: Xenorhabdus are Gram-negative bacteria that live in symbiosis with Steinernema nematodes. During recent decades, more and more researches are focused on the molecular biology of these bacteria. This paper reviews the advances in some functional genes of Xenorhabdus, including outer member protein genes, mobility protein genes, symbiosis-associated genes, insecticidal toxin protein genes, hemolysin genes, antibiotics-related genes, and some patented genes.
