This paper investigates the evening leisure activities in the elderly., The elderly leisure activities mainly include sitin, walk and square dance. Male elderly people choose to walk and sit more than women, and the proportion of females who participate in square dance is up to 87%. The travel distance of the elderly leisure activities in the evening is generally short; most elderly people walk in the range of 0.5-1.5km the travel distance of the elderly decreases significantly with the increase of age, and this decline trend is more obvious in the female than in the male. The travel distances of the elderly who choose different types of leisure activities are significantly different since travel distances of different activities are different. Through a network survey which collects data to characterize the elderly leisure activities in the country, it is found that the overall travel rules of the elderly are similar, and the peak ranges of the travel distance are slightly different due to the urban economic level and the degree of construction completion. Thanks to the establishment of the Logit model to study the influencing factors of the elderly leisure activities, it is shown that gender and family structure have significant impact on the choice of the type of leisure activities in the elderly. The research results have certain guiding significance for community layout and urban planning in aging society.
