Aiming to make China's transportation modernization truly become the pioneer of national modernization, the study explores the connotations of China's transportation modernization, assesses its international position and current gaps, and proposes the path measures to enhance its competitiveness. By employing literature analysis and inductive deduction methods, it is argued that transportation modernization, as a crucial component of Chinese-style modernization, also embodies the five major characteristics of Chinese-style modernization. However, differences in social systems determine their different operational mechanisms and development models between China and Western countries, along with distinct concepts of international cooperation. The complexity and comprehensiveness of China's transportation modernization exceed those of Western countries, presenting more significant challenges. Through comparison with 17 indicators against leading countries, global averages, and typical nations, it is found that China's transportation modernization level roughly ranks among the forefront of developing countries, approaching that of moderately developed countries. While indicators like high-speed railways and expressways have reached world-leading levels, there are still significant gaps in many areas. Four paths for transportation modernization are proposed: systematic infrastructure network construction, high-quality transportation services, green and intelligent transportation technology equipment, and refined modernization of transportation governance.

Ensuring food security is the basic guarantee and necessary requirement for Chinese modernization. This article analyses the intrinsic connection between Chinese modernization and food security: food security in China is an important foundation for more than 1.4 billion people to be well-fed and well-eaten, an integral part of realizing the common prosperity of the entire population, an important prerequisite for the satisfaction of material civilization and then for the pursuit of spiritual civilization, a product of the harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature, and an important guarantee of world peace and development. The article then reviews the practical history of food security with the Chinese path to modernization, and finds that China has realized the transformations from "not having enough to eat" to "eating well", from "relying on production areas" to "relying on the whole country", from "food sufficiency" to "spiritual abundance", from "focusing on output" to "focusing on greenness", and from "passive participation" to "proactive construction", and has stepped out of a path of food security in line with Chinese characteristics. In the future, China should promote the transformation of food security from quantitative security to quality and capacity security, improve the mechanism for guaranteeing the income of grain farmers and the compensation mechanism for the benefits of the main production areas, promote the coordinated development of material and spiritual civilization in the countryside, accelerate the construction of a diversified food supply system based on the concept of the "the greater food approach", and actively participate in the international cooperation on food security and the global governance of food security, in order to effectively improve the level of food security.

In order to deeply implement the Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the "Noise Law") and related policy requirements, actively respond to the new requirements and expectations of the people for a beautiful environment, and promote the modernization of the noise control system, this article summarizes the characteristics and control methods of noise pollution, the process and effectiveness of noise control in China since the 18th National Congress, and the requirements of a modern noise control system. Based on the situation and challenges of noise pollution prevention and control, key suggestions for noise pollution prevention and control have been proposed. The improvement of the Noise Law and a series of regulations and policies marks the initial completion of the top-level design of China's modern noise governance system, including the completion of the top-level design of the modern noise governance system, the systematic noise governance system throughout the entire life cycle, the framework of the standard system, and the monitoring and evaluation system, proposing the "social co-governance" model with Chinese characteristics. In order to promote the implementation of Noise Law and regulations, we should be problem oriented, further improve the standard system of noise regulations, build a leadership responsibility system for noise pollution prevention and control, an enterprise responsibility system, a national action system, a regulatory system, a market and credit system, in order to achieve precise , scientific and legal pollution control, and promote the modernization of the noise control system and governance capacity.

Scientific and technological innovation occupies a core position in the construction of Chinese-style modernization. This paper analyzes the lagging situation of the construction of the existing innovation theory discipline in China, the marginalization of the discipline organization, and the lack of systematic, strategic and autonomous knowledge. In recent years, the scientific and technological war launched by the United States and the West has affected the security of the global technology chain and industrial chain, which shows that scientific and technological innovation is not only related to the creation of new knowledge and the development of new products, but also involves the right to survival and development of late-developing countries, and the existing innovation theories do not understand this enough. It is proposed that we should attach great importance to the development of the discipline of innovation strategy. The connotation, characteristics and the key content of innovation strategy are discussed. It is suggested that the innovation strategy should focus on the theories related to "national innovation capacity", pay attention to the interdisciplinary integration, research on and tell the Chinese story well. It is suggested that a new first-level discipline "innovation strategy" should be added to the Chinese discipline system.

Every step in the modernization of human society has been accompanied by reflection on the ethics of science and technology and the continuous development of an ethical governance system for science and technology. In the new wave of technological revolution, the challenges and governance of technological ethics faced by China have both global commonalities and unique characteristics. It is imperative to deeply understand the problem awareness and specific requirements of ethical governance of science and technology from the perspective of Chinese Path to Modernization. Given the vast scale of its population, there is a need to ponder how to continuously enhance the tech-ethical literacy of the entire population, balance diverse tech-ethical demands and participation, and control the negative external impact of technology. Based on the modernization of shared prosperity among all citizens, it is essential to explore how to regulate potential exploitation of workers by technology, prevent technology from widening wealth and class disparities, and encourage all citizens to share the benefits of technological advancement. With a harmonization of material and spiritual civilization in modernization, it's important to consider adhering to the correct values in technology and enhancing spiritual civility. Based on the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, it's crucial to rethink how to reduce the negative impact of technology on the environment and promote the empowerment of environmental governance by digital technology. Guided by the path of peaceful development, it is necessary to explore how to draw from and improve upon the technological ethical governance experiences of developed countries, manage ethical dumping judiciously, and promote global governance.
