    The acceptable risk criteria are an important part in connection with geo-hazards risk assessment and management; china's geo-hazards criteria are in the early stages of research. For the targets of the life risk acceptability criteria definition of geo-hazards occurred china, firstly the connotation of criterion is analyzed, and then the Individual Risk (IR) criteria and the Social Risk (SR) criteria are achieved through a consequence based approach. The IR criteria are discussed and defined by using statistical and comparative analysis method based on the casualty data of geo-hazards occurred in recent years in the entire country of china and other twelve Chinese provinces frequently-occurring geo-hazards. The research results of IR are summarized as follows: For the natural geo-hazards, the upper limit of the acceptable individual risk is 10-6 per annum and the maximum tolerance for the individual risk is 10-4 per annum; for the geo-hazard IR caused by new built-up slopes, the upper limit of the acceptable individual risk is 10-7 per annum and the maximum tolerance for the individual risk is 10-5 per annum. The SR criteria are recommended based on the IR criteria and the international experiences composed by acceptable, unacceptable, ALARP, and intense scrutiny regions. It is suggested that all of the research conclusions are only for the discussion. The result has both theoretical and practical significance to the formulation of risk acceptability criteria and the risk management implementation for geo-hazards in china.

    Aiming at the design and optimization of complex information network, the characteristics of complex information network were analyzed, the design optimization method and topology evolving model of complex information network based on evolution and emergence were introduced. Under the direction of syncretism, the method adopts a technique with a combination of system analysis, modeling analysis, and simulation analysis to study the design and optimization of complex information network from multi-scale perspective, establishes the security view based on networked thought, highlights the design of network topological structure, enhances the controllability, security, and robustness of network, and embodies the wholeness emergence of functions caused by the local structure evolution. The evolution model of topology structure selects network cost, network delay, network robustness, and network throughput as network evolution power and adjusts their weights to generate and optimize network. Experiments based on the router-level network data of internet service provider show that the method and model are feasible, effective, and scalable. The method is able to deepen our understanding of the dynamical behavior of complex information network, and promote the scientific development of information network.

    Indexes of sulfide ores in oxidation process at ambient temperature are the main indicators in the identification of the spontaneous combustion tendency. The method of comprehensive analysis of multiple factors is widely used in evaluating the oxidizing strength of sulfide ores. However, this method needs lots of evalution indexes and the process of determination is complicated and difficult.The multiple indexes need to be simplified. Correlation analysis is a way to solve this problem. In this paper, taking the sulfide ores of Dongguashan Copper as an example, the software SPSS is used to analyze the correlation of different indexes, including those of the weight gain, the rate of oxygen, the contents of SO42-, the contents of Fe2++Fe3+ and the pH value, with theoretical interpretations. Based on this study, the main and important indexes can be chosen, to simplify indexes and to optimize the indexes in the identification of the spontaneous combustion tendency.

    In the application of pulse-coupled neural network(PCNN),it is difficult to set the parameter of pulse-coupled neural network. In the pulse-coupled neural network model, the linking coefficient β plays an important role. According to the relative entropy D(P, Q: t) and standard deviation, educe an estimate formula that to set the linking coefficient β automatically in the simplified pulse-coupled neural network model. Experimental results show that the algorithm gets a better visual effect when dealing liver hydatid disease image,showing great adaptability.

    Centralization of complex networks, which can help us find important nodes in complex networks, is of great practical value in many applications. Certification requirements of centrality index are introduced. Degree centrality, eccentricity centrality, closeness centrality, subgraph centrality and information centrality are discussed and their applicability is demonstrated on a certain military communication network. The simulation results show that the center node of network is different in different measures; it reflects differences in the emphasis of various centrality measures. Analysis shows that single measure can't reflect important nodes of networks exactly. As a result, several measures should be considered for the centralization analysis of complex networks based on specific application background.

    A novel quadrotor parameter tester instrument has been designed to solve the problem that it is difficult to take into account the low cost and high precision of the tester instrument at the same time. At first, the relation model between rotor rolling velocity and thrust has been simplified, so it is with rotor rolling velocity and drag moment. Then the rigid joint between the tester instrument and the motor stator has been realized based on the theory of geostatics. Then the thrust of rotor was presented with the form of gravity, and the drag moment of rotor was presented with the form of moment. At last, the thrust coefficient and the drag coefficient were obtained by fitting and analyzing the experimentation data. In comparison with related data, the experimentation data shows that the precision of parameters have met the requirement of control. Further more, the ways and means of parameter determination are simple, the parameter tester instrument is cheap, and the realization of parameter determination in engineering is relatively easy.

    In order to scientifically evaluate the slope stability of open-pit mine down dip soft rock, the stability of the soft rock slope on the down dip weak layers and the large faults in slope coal and rock is studied. Based on the rock mass structure control theory and the limit equilibrium theory, a case study of Datang Shengli East II open-pit mine is carried out. Firstly, the monitoring data are classified. Secondly, the limit equilibrium software developed by our research group is used to quantitatively analyze the landslip mode and the mechanism of the south working pit edge. The result indicates that the stability of the current slope is declined from west to east, and the down dip weak layers can be observed. If the exposed weak layer cuts the fault, a slip of plane wedge-shape would happen, or else, there will be a slip from the sliced layer to the down dip layer with the weak layer as the bottom boundary. The potential landslip mode in the south working pit edge is the slipping of plane wedge-shape, and its bottom boundary is the down dip weak layer near the 6th coal seam floor. The F68 fault is the side boundary of the slipping solid, and the lower parts of the fault are relatively stable.

    Through an analysis on the expressway roadside environment from the real situation, a evaluation index system for roadside fault-tolerant environment was established to take following three aspects into consideration, that is, preventing vehicles from rushing out the laneway, avoiding the side tumbling or crash, and reducing accident severity. The Rough Set Theory and Gray Clustering Evaluation (RST-GCE) are used to establish an evaluation model for the roadside fault-tolerant environment. And then, the evaluation model is applied to evaluate an operational expressway and the result is consistent with the reality. It shows that the established evaluation index system and the model are rational and feasible. This model could provide some guidelines for the safety evaluation of high grade highway in China.

    In order to solve the performance degradation of conventional beamformer algorithm under the background of heavy-tailed impulsive noises, a new beamforming approach to combat the arbitrary unknown heavy-tailed impulsive noises of unknown statistics is presented. The new approach, named by Normalized Linearly Constrained Orthogonal Projection (NLCOP) algorithm, is formulated to minimize the noise power of the beamformer's output subject to a pre-specified set of linear constraints. For improving the performance of the beamformer under the background of heavy-tailed impulsive noise of unknown statistics, the new algorithm puts the weighting vector to the noise subspace after the input signal being infinity norm snapshot normalized which makes the second-order-statistics of the input signal existence and bounded. This proposed algorithm does not need prior information or estimation of the impulsive noise's effective characteristic exponent's numerical value, and offers lower sidelobe and better interference-rejection. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

    The developmental progress of Exploding Foil Initiator system (EFIs) is summarized, and analyses on the development and application prospects of high-voltage transformer, pulsed power capacitor, and high-voltage switch are emphasized. In the meantime, the relevant domestic and foreign research level are briefly compared. By combining with the research and development trend of foreign research, the development of EFIs is analyzed. Some conclusions could provide the reference for the optimal design of EFIs with miniaturization, lower energy, and higher integration.
